It's over, mother nature screwed the Yankees, lol I've had it for the night. That was predictable.

He's the leader in the clubhouse, right now. When we fall out of the playoff hunt he falls from the leaderboard.

This inning has been a horror show for the Yankees.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the Jays' bats waking up as their August numbers have been HORRIBLE.

I'm not even mad now, this is just laughable, these are a culmination of bad luck, a great hitting team demolishing bad relief pitching, and Joe's stupid binder moves. It is what it is. Still just one out.

Feels like the Yankees offense have been supplying plenty of runs since the deadline but now they don't have a good enough bullpen to hold the lead anymore. Once the Yankees top bat and 2 shutdown relievers are traded the offense finally wakes up and starts putting up runs. Go figure.

I wonder what could have been if we still had Chapman and Miller and still called up Sanchez, Judge, and Austin and still had Beltran but in the every day DH role. I geuss A-Rod may not have retired if they were going for it though.

Imagine if we still had this offense but with Miller and Chapman in the bullpen. That would make this team the best in the East in my opinion.

Jose Altuve got hit number 1000 tonight in game number 786. Altuve did it in 103 games fewer than the previous club record holder Cesar Cedeno.

Edit: Altuve is the second fastest in MLB history (Ichiro).

                        This game...my god.

A 9th inning, 2 out basket homer by Hernan Perez, then a bloop single. Then Chapman walks a guy after several foul balls. Then an INF mistake swing single to load the bases.

Bad luck and the Cubs bullpen made this one harder than it needed to be.

Still 2-0 against the Brewers today.

As much as I like replays in mlb, it's just ridiculous at times. Takes 5 minutes to be like "We can't tell which is right call. Let's just go with what the ump said 5 minutes ago".

Jays especially have been known for that. They have worst challenge success in baseball this year, probably in mlb since replays introduced, and seems like majority of their wrong challenges aren't even ones where you can see they(meaning Jays) were wrong, but rather umps just being like "there's not enough conclusive evidence to overturn the call".

Keep it going. I'd actually prefer the Dodgers win the division and the Giants and Cardinals cannibalize each other in a 1-game playoff. Dodgers-Cubs would make for a good series also. Especially if your team can get somewhat healthy.
