MLB signs a contract with XM

Trying to find the press release that I saw yesterday, but can't so far. Anyways, every MLB baseball game will be on XM starting next season.

Yeah, they need to compete by signing the MLB, since Sirius has the NFL and NBA wrapped up.

Would have been nice if Sirius had wrapped up the deal, but after paying 500 million for Stern starting in 2006, I don't see where they could have afforded it. The good thing is that XM won't be making this a premium subscription like they have with O&A and a couple of the channels that are only available on the online streaming.

the only reason XM got MLB is they had to get something to try and compete with Sirius signing of Stern I had XM radio then it broke and instead of getting a new one went with Sirius just because of stern didn't know they had MLB so it's kinda sucks that I won't get the MLB anymore but I think 650 Million for the Rights is way too much, they will not be able to stay with sirius when 2006 is here..

Doesn't XM have more subscribers than Sirius?

So, is Sirius like the rookie prospect (XM being the old vet) that could steal the wily old vets spot in the rotation?

Sirius has just went over 700k of subscribers. XM has over 2 million subs.
