Can't believe the Giants had the best record in baseball at the ASB and they're 73-64 now. The last team on the outside of the playoff hunt, the Mets, is only 1.5 GB and if the Giants keep it up, they could get passed by both the Cardinals and the Mets.

That Jays/Yankees game was epic but my goodness...The way things are going and the nature of that loss has me fearing for the Jays' playoff hopes. That was just soul crushing.

Yet they're theoretically still in the hunt.

I dunno if that's a testament to the Buccos timing their losing streak right or the Wild Card contenders in the NL being so bad.

Yes, but that Jay's team never gives up a/b's, I'm ecstatic the Yankees won the series, that team is hard as hell to beat.

Yoan is looking a smidge over matched up in MLB so far...and that's okay.

This Andrew Toles guy can hit. From out of baseball and stocking grocery shelves a year ago to doing a decent Barry Bonds impression in his first ~70 PAs.

Hammel got torched tonight. He's had a couple like that mixed in with a mostly good 2nd half. ERA still pretty good at 3.50. I doubt he makes the playoff roster nonetheless.

Rondon came back, gave up a run. Good to see him working in a low profile situation. Hopefully he's actually healthy this time.

Kris Bryant gets a day off finally after a 3-for-18 stretch and Rizzo homers twice to make up ground in the MVP race. Go figure.

                          Magic number holding at 10.

I'm almost thankful I just moved and don't have internet yet so I can't watch these games. It's an anxiety attack waiting to happen.

I wonder what the record is for most home runs by a player on a team that finishes with the worst record in baseball. Is Dozier giving it a run?
