I know. I'm really rooting for those small market Braves to go all the way.

9-3 now, still probably over, but who knows

The Braves payroll is high, but it's still just a smidge over half of what the Yankees spent.

If Anaheim holds on to win today, it will be a huge, huge upset. Like the sign that was shown on TV last night says: "Half the payroll, twice the heart".

This is why I love baseball......its never over, 9-3 can be corrected with good hard baseball, a few base hits, etc can get you back in it.

There is always a chance, especially with the Yankees.

I know that but a Braves fan shouldn't be one of the people complaining about the Yankees payroll

You have to admit, with the payroll being such a news-worthy subject this season, that it is ironic to have the team that spent almost double what anyone else spent get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. Of course, it's no where near as bad as the Met's $101 million dollar fiasco... but it's still pretty funny.

Maybe the Braves will beat S.F., maybe they won't... but I can walk away from this post season with a smile on my face if the Yankees lose in the first round.

I would because I love rooting for the underdog.

              I wont, because I wanna seee a Braves/Yankees WS.

I would have liked to see a Yankees/Athletics rematch... that was an awesome series last year. It's not looking too good for either one of those teams right now though.

Braves/Cardinals would be a great series... best pitching in the league versus the best offense in the league.

Yankees A's would be that too. Best pitching in the AL, vs best offense in the AL

I dont know, this playoffs have been interesting.....a 91 rematch would be excellent for 2 reasons.

                    One, we get a rematch.....

Two, Bud Selig looks like an even bigger *******.

Yanks have the bases loaded with 1 out, for Posada who went deep last time up

The Yankees never quit, I'll give 'em that much.
