ok, so let me try to translate (I actually had to read that 3 times to figure out what he was trying to say).

You basically said that Rivera has not been the same since game 7 vs. arizona. Rivera used to (and still is) the best in your opinion, but Gagne has closed the gap between he and Rivera (between #1 and #2).

It's kind of hard to blow a save in a playoff game if he's yet to have a save situation in a playoff game, so this argument carries no weight.

Not counting this year's playoffs (Rivera's postseason stats)

                    9 Games
                    17 IP
                    8 H
                    14 K
                    6 Saves
                    1 ER
                    0.53 ERA

Yeah, he hasn't been the same since 2001.

When the Yankees need him most he just can't come out on top, we can talk about this forever but all it comes down to is that boston is playing St.Louis. Its not his fault they lose all four games but two are.He is a closer and his job is to close.

he only blew one save. The other game was impossible to save as there were no outs, person on 1st and 3rd.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

I think youngMelo has been following in his mentors footsteps by puffing the wacky tobacky. Gagne has not blown a postseason save yet how many chances has he had? Exactly. Like Jets said look at 96,98,99,00,02,03. No one has been that dominant before and will probably not be again. But hey smoke some more for me ok.
