Rivera and Gagne... in that order.

However, your omission of guys like Joe Nathan, Francisco Cordero and Franky Rodriguez shows you don't know a heck of a lot about baseball.

I didn't no K-Rod was a closer. I mean he had 14 this season so he must b the best n the league. Now Cordero an Nathan was my fault. But they both did blow big games.Cordero blow a save Oak n sep which ended there winning streak and Lose 2 Ana n a game which they would have ended a losing streak. Nathan all I have 2 say is Yankees. But i was wrong For not putting both of them but I asked 4 the best not 2nd 3rd 4th an 5th.Just 1st.So if U dont think neither 1 of them is first u should have nothin 2 say.

he doesnt usually close, but when he does, he is practically perfect.
                in 84 innings he recorded 123 k's, 33 walks, with a 1.84 ERA in 69 games

dont get me wrong he at this point n time he is a "Great set up man". He will without a doubt b a starter or closer soon(more like a closer). But right now he sets up T.P for the save.

YoungMel, please use correct grammar and punctuation, as well as correct spelling ("know", instead of "no", or "the" instead of "tha", etc). It makes your posts incredibly hard to read and I'm unable to take them seriously.

But for the question, it's still Rivera.
