Okay the Red Sox were "cursed" for having sold Babe Ruth... what about the Yankees being cursed for getting rid of Aaron Boone who won them the league title last year? + From what I read in S.I. A. Boone is one hell of a nice and honest person.

By that same notion it could also be the David Dullucci, Alfonso Soriano, Andy Pettite, David Wells, Roger Clemons or Jeff Weaver Curse. None of them were on the team this year that lost but were on it last year.

If anything, there's an A-Rod curse. Think about it, the Red Sox all but had A-Rod in their hands, then the Yankees basically came and swept him away. He was so involved with the Red Sox name, and so close to being one, since the Yankees took him, they became cursed.
I might not be explaining it that well but it works better in my mind.Comment
