I havne't looked at the new schedule, but don't the Yankees open up at home against the Red Sox???
Really think about how stupid that is.
I heard that MLB had some MIT kids work on the schedule for next year. Some amazing formula they had to make the schedule "balanced" for everyone. The NL Central is supposed to play the AL East this year. The only reason I know is that during Pirate games this year, they kept talking about how it's a rematch of the old Pirate/Yankee rivalry back when Bill Mazeroski hit his famous 9th inning HR.
I guess anything to stir up ticket sales for the Pirates nowadays.Comment
