It's hard not to choose Manny/Bellhorn. Both of those guys were certainly deserving.

you have to give it to bellhorn just for the homer in game 1.. once he hit that... the series was over.

There was this discussion from my local radio show, and I'd have to agree with them, why not Johnny Damon or David Ortiz?

                Why not Keith Foulke?

The man gave up one run through the enite post season, and he managed to shut down the Cardinals in all 4 games.

Game 1, top of the 8th. Cards had the bases loaded with one out in a 9-9 game, and Foulke got Rolen to pop out and Edmonds to strike out.

                HUGE.

Foulke was the man this post season.

We are talking WS MVP, not post season MVP.

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why they would award it to Manny. The guy is going to be more known for nearly snapping his leg off at the knee in committing consecutive errors at Fenway in Game 1 rather than his "decent" offensive production in four games.

Look at Bill Mueller's numbers. He led the entire team in AVG, OBP, SLG%, and OPS for the entire series.

Nevertheless, the one man who epitomized the Red Sox drive, desire, sacrifice, and perseverence this post season was Curt Schilling. That man is going to have a movie made about him one day.

the sox may put manny ramirez back on waivers this offseason. If so, you think the Yanks would take him?
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Why? They can get Beltran for cheaper and they already have Matsui and Sheffield.
