So I guess the rumors were right about the league breaking off the NL/AL switch each year for the ASG. Can't blame them, the NL is getting new ballparks by the loads.

I'm not surprised by this. I thought SF would get it in 2006, but it looks like Selig wanted to help the Pirates declining revenue sooner rather than later. I mean that by, the Pirates are saying the only way to get tickets to the ASG is to have FULL season tickets for BOTH the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

Otherwise you can try to scalp them for $1000's...

I'm not surprised by this. I thought SF would get it in 2006, but it looks like Selig wanted to help the Pirates declining revenue sooner rather than later. I mean that by, the Pirates are saying the only way to get tickets to the ASG is to have FULL season tickets for BOTH the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

2007 was supposed to be the Cardinals new stadium(the orignal plan was for this to be the final year for Busch but they had financing problems thanks to the State Congress) but it won't be totally done until 2008...which is when I think they get the All Star Game
