Steve Stone decides not to come back

    Jeez

Down here in chicago, everyone is talking about the decision of the "great" (and I use the term loosely) Steve Stone's decision not to come back to the Cubs broadcast booth. Stone is a very good analyst; however, he fired on some cubs players during the season from his bully pulpit and they were giving it back to him on team flights and in airport terminals and what not. So now he is taking is ball and going home with his decision not to come back to the WGN booth and he is a martyr, and every Chicago media sports wonk is acting like it is the death of sports as we know it in Chicago. What a friggin joke. Stone is another girl who can dish it out but when the athlete fires back on him and takes it to him, he runs and hides to his pals in the media.
