Maybe slight, that outfield would be insane. Almost as the good as the Cameron-Ichiro outfield.

I'll agree with slight, not a downgrade. To add to this, I dont think he'll go to the yanks either because if the yanks sign Beltran for 20 mil and say randy johnson for 15 mil. That would add to their payroll. Right now I hear that they have 16 players worth 176 mil on the books. Add 35 mil for those 2 and your up to 211 mil, Lieber has a 8 mil option and they need pitching so that is 219 mil plus other pieces would give them roughly a 230 mil payroll, if that happens George's tax will be over 100 mil so is he gonna spend 330 mil on a team for 1 year, that is absurd even for him. I think Carlos best option is the Cubs. They have pitching, a great park that he loves and money. It remains to be seen what happens but I cant see either of these teams landing him, well see.

I say it's a downgrade because Cameron is a waste at Rightfield.

You're basically downgrading your defense at centerfield. If someone should be moving to right, it should be Beltran.

Dude, Beltran is a very good centerfielder. This would be as much a downgrade as getting prime rib instead of fillet mignon. In both cases the defense is great and the improvement in offense is insurmountable considering Beltran's all-around game.

Most great RFs can play CF and vice versa... basically your best arm goes in right, best speed/arm combo goes in center and left is for a good speed/bad arm guy or just a masher (ala Manny Ramirez) who you have to get in the line-up for his bat. Either way, a Beltran/Cameron combo kicks ***. Personally, I'd play the better arm in right, but neither is 'wasted' in either position.

Whoa, for some reason people are getting the impression that I'm saying that Beltran sucks.

All I'm saying is that I'd prefer to have Cameron at CF and Beltan in RF.

I don't know what this has to do with ARod moving to 3B.

This would be just as stupid as moving Rodriguez to 3B and keeping Jeter at SS...

Jeter did win the Gold Glove... I dont know why that was a stupid move. You'll have to explain.

Because Arod is a better SS than Jeter. Gold gloves dont mean anything...
