It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine. -

His lead arm. Look at how it tenses and straightens up. It's actually caused by his wide stance, he can't swing any other way.
Either way, didn't mean to hijack this thread about MLB games. My bad.Comment

Some of the Houston fans have been doing it again all game. It's gonna be pretty annoying watching any game of theirs if they keep this up.Comment

HUZZAH!
BTW in watching the Jays game tonight i'm starting to appreciate Steve Pearce more and more. He hasn't gotten the results yet but it seems every game he's played in he's good for at least one good grind it out AB. I sure hope he can get some big hits soon. I want to cheer him on.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

And almost nobody was there to see it......Seriously, just get this Rays stadium stuff resolved already. Second series of the season and it's already half empty.
But nice to see Morales with such a big home run. Not even playing at Rogers Centre yet and off to good start.Comment

End of the day, 280129 homers.
Based on my incredibly inaccurate counting, Jonathan Villar hit #280,100.Boston Red Sox

Re: 4/2 - 4/16 Game Discussion Thread
Tebow looked like he was surprised he hit a ball that far by the way he ran the bases.
I've seen worse swings in professional baseball, but his is a bit rough. He does bar out by loading his hands away from his body rather than rowing his elbow back, but at least his hands try to move forward first rather than completely swinging from back there.
If Jason Heyward could swing like that, it'd be a vast improvement.Comment

Nice to see Matt Kemp really hitting the ball well early on. Total X-Factor if the Braves want to not be losers.Comment

Hey Beantown..... you can take Buchholz back any time now. He's picking it up right where he left off in ST. If he never got boo'd in Boston, it's only a matter of (short) time in Philly. We'll throw in Adam Morgan too. No reason to give up a HR to an opposing pitcher not named "Mad Bum"!Comment

I'll be at the Phillies home opener today. Hoping for a good game from Vince Velasquez. Max Scherzer on the mound for the Gnats so definitely won't be many runs today.

Why Morgan isn't in AAA is beyond me.
