Russell Martin 0 for 20 to start the season. Only making 20 million this year

His bat is looking awfully slow too.....

I think we're on the verge of hitting the panic button in Toronto. The pitching looks like it'll sort itself out but the hitting is ATROCIOUS. If the Jays have a bad homestand you're going to see Brook Jacoby fired for sure and possibly even Gibby if this team continues to look so lifeless. I don't care that he signed an extension before the season started.

I could see them fire jacoby. Gibby is safe for the year no matter what happens

BTW Blzer is that your laptop/electronic device or TV? I ask because that's a real smooth picture.
I used my Kodak Zi8 pocket camera and recorded on my TV in 720p/60 FPS. Strange that it looks so smooth though haha because I don't use S.O.E. on my plasma and I skipped a frame for each shot in the GIF.

EDIT: I think what's happening is it's playing faster than the actual replay was. Maybe if I didn't skip every other frame then it would actually look more normal (or about the same, but play slower).

                  Is that Rex Hudler?

Then it's close, but nothing is worse than the Hawk.

Tyler Flowers is not a good catcher.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I think his career ran out of gas last season. He's a shell of his former self.

He's also getting pounded behind the plate. Almost every game he's getting nicked up and not in the normal "catcher gets nicked up" kind of way either. He's getting bats connecting with his head, balls beating the crap out of his free hand etc etc.

I think I agree with you, the signs were starting to show last year with his fits and starts at the plate. He's still a very competent defensive catcher but his bat doesn't warrant being a starter anymore.
