Send Glasnow down, he doesn't have it.

This reminds me of what Smoltz was talking about in the Atlanta broadcast yesterday. He went 2-11 in the first half of 1991 with a 5.16 ERA but Bobby stuck with him and he went 12-2 with a 2.63 ERA in the 2nd half.

I haven't seen Glasnow pitch so I don't know how good his stuff is or his makeup but Smoltz was stating how nearly non-existent that is in today's world...no young pitcher would be given that kind of leash today.

I'm as surprised as you're that the Pirates fought back.

He has good stuff, just needs his command to be better. Him and Taillon were the two big pitching prospects for the Pirates.

I'm as surprised as you're that the Pirates fought back.

Just can't feel comfortable on a day like that with any kind of lead (unless it was double digits or something). Things really went to hell after Jake left the game.

Nice win for PIT.

Brandon Phillips continually gets out on the 1st pitch when a runner is on. It's like he doesn't understand he has at least 2 strikes to work with.

I'm really starting to dislike this guy.

He was okay as a Red but I don't like his start as a Brave so far.

I don't like Brandon Phillips or RA Dickey.

Some of these pitching prospects we've been accumulating like a sick hoarder need to come through ASAP.
