The umpires have been garbage all night long. Doesn't help there's a bunch of Bartman's in the crowd tonight.

It's pretty clear that the Cubs will be shopping for a bullpen. Not too many reliable pieces back there.

I mean I guess I need to see more I still really like the bullpen outside of duesning.

I know it will come around but the offense has been the bigger problem.

I'm willing to wait and see how things shake out. The asking price may be a bit steep depending who they may go after.

So can we talk about how PHENOMENAL that 4-game weekend series between The Marlins & Mets was???

Since when does the ball fly like that in Marlins park? there must of been some sort of record set in that series for homers in that park.

JT RIDDLE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? One week in the majors & this guy comes up HUGE for the 3rd W, wow that was a wild one folks. That series had me on the edge of my seat all weekend! loving the early momentum my club has going for them hopefully we can smack around the struggling Mariners.

                Excellent season thus far!

Agreed with Bleacher. The offense has been really boom or bust so far. Seems like it's either 6-8 runs or 0-2. Bullpens are so sporadic, who knows how that will go. I don't really have a ton of confidence in the team for some reason. Feels like this will be a disappointing season.

That Ozuna catch was crazy. Half way up the walls then leans forward to catch it. Crazy catch.

It was so creative on his behalf that's not something they practice at all I don't think. He spoke about it a bit during his post game interview but fantastically quick thinking on his part! a game saver to be sure.

Felt like all those Mets/Marlins games came down to the last at-bat. Wild stuff.

Didn't get to watch too much this weekend. Tough with hockey playoffs and Easter.

I don't really trust Rondon or Strop. After they got hurt last year, they've both been extremely shaky. Both were barely playable in the playoffs. Duensing is bad--I'd rather have Rob Z. as our LOOGY. Uehara is really old. Montgomery might be needed as a SP (Brett Anderson will get hurt). Grimm and Edwards are up and down on a daily basis.

Wade Davis should be fine, but even he's no Aroldis Chapman.

I feel like we'll need to pick up 2 solid relievers sooner than you might think.

The offense doesn't worry me one bit. It's early and we should have a Top 5 offense in most categories when it's all said and done.

The Cardinals are currently on their 3rd, 3 game losing streak this season, and its only April 17th.

I'm afraid its going to be a long season.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I guess I'm the opposite of you in this discussion. I was concerned about Rondon considering his spring and how he looked in the WBC but I thought he has looked quite good so far. I'm gonna trust the larger sample on Strop but yeah he hasn't been good it's really been him and Grimm that haven't been good. I really like Carl Edwards JR still. and Uehara is still pretty decent just not on back to backs imo. and Wade Davis has looked elite like his old KC self.

idk i guess I'm going to give them more rope than a few bad games.
