    Ichiro should have got the award. Don't get me wrong, Vlad had a solid year, but what did he do? Hit homers and drove in RBIs. Ichiro had a career season, and broke a long time record. You can't say Ichiro doesn't deserve it because his team was in last place, look at Texas last year, they sucked it up and A-Rod got it.

        I don't think Ichiro deserves it and I also don't think that AROD deserved it. It's the Most Valuable Player and I think that if you switch Vlad and Ichiro then Seattle will do better and Anaheim will do worse because hitting homers and doubles is more valuable than hitting singles.
