"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Alright, alright. I'm on an island here. I personally celebrate Mother's Day by celebrating my mother, rather than celebrating myself. But then again I'm not a MLB Hall of Famer. So...Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

When I saw your first post on this I thought it was meant to be sarcasm...I was going to make a comment that the person who responded to you needed to have their sarcasm meter checked, but now I see it's mine that needs completely re-calbirated."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Nah you were right the first time, lol. My sarcasm just has levels to it. At the same time, please be advised that I am not a Jeter fan (he torched the A's during his career), which is why I liked CountryBoy's comment. Still, it was too easy to poke fun at someone who chose to celebrate himself on Mother's Day. Just saying.Unofficial OS Ambassador of "CPU vs. CPU"

Anyway, Hannah seemed unimpressed with the entire thing.
