Fourth consecutive game for Trout with a homerun.

My birthday is tomorrow. A's are playing in Seattle so the wife and I took a quick trip up and will be at the game tomorrow. I'm excited to cross Safeco off my very long list of unvisited stadiums.

Watching tonight's game from my hotel room. Listening to other teams broadcasters always makes me appreciate how the A's broadcast team at least tries to call a game fairly and with excitement regardless of what team is scoring runs.

Funny to think that the Mets and all of that pitching from 2 years ago is currently dead last in MLB in runs allowed. Also, a good portion of peoples' World Series picks (Cubs, Indians, Red Sox) are a combined 3 games over .500 right now, with the Cubs a game under. Houston, DC, and the Dodgers are at least playing as well as they were expected to.

It's been a fun year so far but I fully expect it to fall apart sometime. I'm thinking we are this years Phillies.

Weren't they like 25-19 last year before losing 90 games?

Nice Monday night for my rooting interests. Braves win with good contributions from Swanson, Kemp and another Freddie homer. Giants beat the Dodgers and are starting to look somewhat competent again with Posey going deep again, Angels win AND Trout hits his 4th homer in 4 games?

                Good **** all around.

Was like 24-17 or something like that before reality set in.

So on this date, 5/16/17, does anyone believe that any other team besides the Astros will win the AL West or the Nationals will win the NL East?

Each hold an 8 game lead as of today.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Baring any massive waves of injuries where more than half the starters go down for lengthy periods, nope. Both teams are the class of their respective divisions.

                        Nationals bullpen is garbage.

Well, I expected the Jays to lose yesterday (Bolsinger is crap) so here's hoping they can pick things up again and get back on the winning side especially since they'll be playing the O's over the weekend.

As for the question posed about the Nats and Astros I think both will win their divisions. The Nats may run away and hide but the Stros won't.

Same thing in KC, just watched a flyball for Chris Carter get sucked into a wind tunnel and it just kept going until it was gone.
