Point is he could have gotten a lot more than he did.

I'm not saying he's nothing....his A and AA numbers were great, but his PCL numbers, last 24 games or not, aren't fantastic. He might be a stud...I'm not downplaying him as much as I think Marco Gonzalez can still be a viable MLB pitcher.

Perhaps not but they did deal Donaldson for almost nothing of value

Braves, Twins trade for Garcia sounds like it's not gonna happen.

Brewers "very aggressive" in pursuit of Justin Wilson.

That sucks for the Twins, seeing that they have a big ballpark they might have interest in Estrada now if he has an acceptable performance tonight.

White Sox Acquire Mark Lowe and Jean Machi from the Mariners. No word on what is headed back to Seattle yet.

EDIT: Cah considerations headed back to Seattle.

Jaime Garcia trade apparently was nixed by the Braves after they had some medical red flags pop up on the prospect they were receiving in return. Good thing...Jaime was awesome last night.

Nick Burdi was the prospect that was supposed to go to Atlanta. He had TJ Surgery back in May, which would explain the concern over medicals.

I find it amazing folks are saying Baltimore should trade Machado. No way would I give him up.

You know...when the news broke of this trade I had gone and looked over all of Minnesota's top 30 prospects. As soon as I read Burdi's profile, I thought he would be the guy the Atlanta FO would target. He fit their MO...kind of glad it didn't pan out.

Rays acquire Sergio Romo from the Dodgers for cash considerations.

Hearing rumbles of Stanton to the Yankees for Chance Adams and Clint Frazier. I guess the Yankees/Dodgers are the only two teams that could take on that contract...we'll see what happens.

They have enough guys who can hit the ball a mile.

Where did you hear that? I'd be shocked if that's all it took to get that trade done.

That seems like an overpay when you consider Stanton is still owed lika a billion dollars.
