Welp, here's hoping the break has allowed the Jays to clear their heads and play some better baseball. I look forward to seeing how Sanchez does especially after getting knocked around last time.

Cubs play 70something percent of their games in the 2nd half against teams that are under .500. If they can't get to 87 wins with that schedule, they won't deserve a playoff appearance anyway.

LOL at the early camera work in this Cubs-O's game on the Cubs' MLB.TV feed. Some weird extreme closeups and jumpiness.

Cubs liking this Oriole pitching early on--Willy just hit a HR Derby-esque 3-run bomb in the 1st. Schwarber goes back-to-back for 4-0.

Zobrist leaves the building in the 2nd and the Cubs are hammering Gausman 6-0.

Braves got a decent stretch of games with Arizona, Cubs, LAD, Arizona, but then Philly to round out the month. Should be more of a test to show if this team really is as good as they have played the the last month-ish.

The J-Hey Kid makes it 8-0 with a 2-run dinger of his own. This team is looking familiar.

Aaron Judge leads the league in 10.0 AB/HR followed by Bellinger at 10.3. Freeman just hit his 17th HR of the year in his 164 AB. That puts him at 9.6 AB/HR. He's still such an underrated hitter(and fielder) somehow.

At his current pace, had he played all 162 games this year, he'd hit 62-63 HR. Instead, the Blue Jays decided to hit 26 Braves in a 3 game series and Freddie missed 43 of the first 87 games of the year due to such childish behavior of their pitchers.
