Ya...that wasn't even close...he didn't even move the bat past his shoulder. Just awful. Our offense has been AWOL this entire series...would just like one inning to see them break out for 5-6 runs.

Like I mentioned before, had you told me the Braves would only give up 3, 4, and 5 ribs in each game I'd have thought taking 2 was a guarantee and the sweep was very probable. But nope, the team has looked terrible at the plate.

Just got home from work and flipped on Cubs-Braves. Apparently I didn't miss anything. Exactly the same vibe as the first 2 games of this series.

A 6-game winning streak out of the break is very nice, should the Cubs hold on here, but hopefully KB17 won't miss much time.

Good job Kemp. This is why I said this team shouldn't try for a wild card. The fact that they're about to be swept shows just how terrible they are.

Yeah, the Braves aren't ready to seriously compete--sort of like the Brewers where they've had most things go right to appear competitive--but to be fair the Cubs are playing some of their best ball of the year. Especially the rotation. This has been a dominant turn through the rotation.

I will take the Cubs playing at their best versus any team in baseball. The trick is for them to sustain it, kinda like the Dodgers are doing.

No, it's a Cubs team that is barely over. 500 because they got to play the Orioles and Braves back to back. It's like how the Braves got to. 500 playing the Giants, Padres, A's, Phillies. I'm not sold on either team.
