Lol Brewers back to being the Brewers.

I expect to be in 4th place before the season ends.

The Cubs are a good team. I'm surprised this is under any doubt.

Wow...a Chip sighting! Long time, no post. Of course the Cubs are a good team...I haven't seen anyone intimate they aren't. They haven't played well, but that's the point...everyone knows they haven't played to their potential yet.

Stat of the Day. Corey Seager now has 45 career HR's. He now has more homers than any other shortstop in Los Angeles Dodgers history. All of this in about 2 full seasons. The previous record was 43 by Rafael Furcal.

The all time franchise record is 122 HR's by Pee Wee Reese, but that came while in Brooklyn.

While that is impressive, it isn't like the Dodgers have had a lot of great SS, if any. I mean, the "best" Dodger SS since they moved to LA was probably Bill Russell (Furcal was the best talent, but Russell was in LA a lot longer). I remember Offerman was supposed to be the next big thing, except that he couldn't field.

Brewers are swept by Pittsburgh, and lead the Cubs by just a game. Cubs are idle today.

That respectable 5.5 game lead Milwaukee built at the break didn't last very long. Almost like the Brewers are a really young and inexperienced team or something.

They're probably a year away. They need a couple veteran guys who've been through the wars. You can really tell that they're just happy to be as good as they are right now what with how they play up to the camera after big plays/HRs. I really like this team so I hope they don't completely nosedive.

                      Not that young.

Most guys on this team aren't even part of the rebuild. Most their talent isn't even on the MLB club.

                        4th youngest?

This MLB Roster Analysis tool lets you sort baseball rosters by number of left handed batters, average weight, average age, and more!

Not sure when this snapshot was taken (today apparently)

With Hader, Arcia, Phillips, and Santana there already, I think you can say a good chunk of their young talent is already up.

Yesterday during the game they said that the only person the Brewer's roster with more than 1000 PA's coming into this season was Braun. I don't know if that's true, but they were using that to show how young they are.

These guys are most likely not part of the future in Milwaukee.

How was that not blocking the plate? Is it because he jumped that it was no longer considered blocking or do you have to stand closer than 3 inches to the plate for it to violate the rule? That seemed like a clear cut block.
