There is a difference between being on the roster and getting to play every day, your right, a lot of teams would have liked to have him, but the question is to start or be backup. I would have liked to see him stay with the Red Sox, but if Trot Nixon is healthy, finding playing time for Kevin Millar and Doug Mientkiewicz (assuming neither one gets traded) and with David Roberts as the 4th OF, Kapler's playing time would have been significantly reduced. Maybe the Yomiuri Giants offerd him a chance to start on a regular basis. Who Knows!. I say good luck to him!.Comment
