Well unless they get a 2 out hit (unlikely) the Braves got out of it with only giving up 1 run which is about as good as you can hope for given bases loaded and no outs.
Bad hitting by the Giants. No excuse for that strikeout.

Well, the middle of the lineup should get up one more time, so theres some hope. Just after all these years of watching the Braves in the playoffs, I don't believe anyone will come through. Seems to happen that way everytime.

I have changed my future outlook for the Braves after tonight. I'm sick and tired of being a fan of a team that "can pitch" yet has absolutely jack sh*t in the way of an offense. 11 men left on base so far?!? What the holy flying f*ck is up with that?!? Furcal is taking a page out of Otis Nixon's "How to not get on base by drag bunting in the playoffs for dummies" book. And why in the name of all that is sacred is Keith "P.O.S." Lockhart starting the game when Derosa has been doing so well?

This is my official last Braves post of the year, as I am now done worrying about them. For your fan's sake, let one of the two high priced pitchers go this off-season and pick up someone who can actually swing the bat. Only giving up 3 runs a game doesn't do you much good when you only score 2.

I feel the same way Guru. Every year the Braves get to the playoffs, and every year they seem to come up short. Just so frustrating. Definately need someone else who can come up with big hits. Nobody on the team ever seems to step up. I'd be more than willing to eat these words later tonight, but right now I don't see it happening.
