Okay Joey Bats it's time to stick a fork in yourself and work in the Toronto media.

      Phillies release Cameron Rupp.

Any clue as to why they paid Kingery so much for never having taken a Major League AB?

EDIT: Several moves today. Texas signed Bartolo and Trevor Plouffe to minor deals, Tim Tebow is starting the year in Double A, and the elusive Greg Bird is going to miss the first two months of the season following ankle surgery.

The Jays would be wise to sign Rupp. Offensively the guy is a HUGE upgrade over Maille. Is his defense at least league average? I can live with that.

Don't believe so. 3rd in catcher errors in the NL and 2nd in passed balls. Although he does throw out a higher than average amount of runners.

Though having Maile is obviously only defensive reasons. He's offensively worse than Thole! Mailes OBP is almost the same as Tholes batting average lol.

Not good at framing but he did throw out 31% of base stealers.

                      Not according to Acuna.

Greg Holland to Cards is exploding on Twitter, and it's also on MLB.com's site. Cards have not confirmed the deal yet.

                            1 year, 14 mil, apparently.
