If they actually start trading off guys they should be able to get some decent pitching prospects that aren't far off from the Majors.

Also, like you stated they need to do a better job at developing pitchers that come through their system.

It was funny watching the ASG as they interviewed Kemp while he was playing OF and they asked about Machado, he had to play it cool, and I was dying for a screaming liner in his direction lol

Good, they need to start over from scratch.

Zach Britton market has "picked up steam."

Trade interest in Orioles closer Zach Britton has reportedly begun to accelerate in recent days. Read more at MLB Trade Rumors.

Yeah man he's next out the door. Rumor is the Dodgers may have a 2nd deal with Baltimore for Britton. We'll see on that one.

I wouldn't mind seeing Gausman in a Cubs uni. Might be able to buy low like they did with Arrieta (obviously not as low as Arrieta).

Maybe get Britton to be the Strop of the trade for old time's sake.

Don't think thtad happening again! Gausman has been great this year with 2 more years of control.

Ah, I thought he was struggling again. I'd think the Orioles would make the Cubs overpay regardless of who it is because of that trade, though.

I'd be ok with Mychal Givens or Brad Brach being the Strop of the trade.

Jon Heyman is reporting there will be 5 minor league players going to Baltimore in the Machado deal.

Wow, talk about giving up a lot of prospect capitol to get a probable rental.

Dodgers were high as hell on Seagar at SS. High as hell on 3B Justin Turner. They gave him a multiyear deal. The Dodger's don't Manny Machado. Hell they need pitching. Manny Machado would be an upgrade in Atlanta either at SS or 3B, but we need provening pitching.

What do you mean WERE high on Seager and Turner? They still are. Seager is hurt. So Manny slides in at short. FA at seaons end. Dodgers have enough prospects to go get a pitcher as well.
