He played a few games at CF in the minors. Think theyd have Stanton in right, Judge in left and a platoon of Hicks/Gardy in center. But thats just me

Should just be Gardner in LF, Hicks in CF and rotate Judge and Stanton at DH and RF.

If something were to happen to Bird again, wonder if GS would make a stop at 1B

Pretty sure Aaron Judge would move to 1B. Or Taylor Austin steps up.

Apparently, during the winter meetings the Cubs and Padres were talking. Cubs were looking for either a young controllable starter or Brad Hand. The name dangled out there going the other way would have been Javier Baez. SD however wasnt keen on dangling Perdomo or Lamet...

What is SD thinking? Id have taken a deal involving Baez for a package of Perdomo and Hand

The Dodgers wanted to work out a deal of Yasiel Puig for Jackie Bradley Jr. The Red Sox shot it right down, thank goodness.

I dunno, Puig could be Manny 2.0 over there. That wasn't such a bad deal in Bean Town was it?

He's not a great player...a fringe major leaguer, but I have enjoyed watching Jace play for 3 years. He hustles and has a great attitude. I won't miss his .685 OPS or his inexplicable SB/CS ratio, but I will miss having him on the team.

Even though the player is not great, it kind of reveals their plan of the triple A guys most likely starting the season as opposed to spending on bigger talent. I still think they will look to the outside for 3b but 2nd is pretty much taken care of.
