I personally found the quote to be pretty funny, though I can't imagine it will go over well with the majority of baseball players, especially Benson's teammates. Nothing scares insecure men worse than a woman who speaks her mind, especially one that is hot and won't sleep with them.

Re: Strange comments by Anna Benson
Gold digger? Anna seems to be doing quite well without her husband's paycheck.
She just likes sex and all that jazz. Nothing wrong with that. Her comments basically just expressed her love for a male's body. If I was Kris, I wouldn't care since it appears that she expresses her desires in the bedroom with him every night.
Obviously, you could be concerned especially if rumors pop-up, but the rumor I've heard is that Kris and Anna are always having sex. The only time they don't is when Kris has a start the next day."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I think her sex comments are also just for attention. She's using everything she can to get noticed. She just wants the publicity. I doubt 90% of what she says is true in regards to her and Kris's sex history.
The rumors of her sleeping around were all over the place during Benson's 2nd to last season with the Pirates. It was said that her and Giles were getting it on and that Giles and Benson had serious problems in the clubhouse. Of course, the truth behind this will never be known.
IMO she's a gold-digging tramp. If you ever met her, the first words out of her mouth would probably be "My husband makes $x million/year". Either that or she'd tell you how her husband is the greatest pitcher ever to grace a baseball diamond.Comment

Re: Strange comments by Anna Benson
The thing about the Bensons that annoyed me the most was the fact that they BOTH spent so much time patting themselves on the back about "what they did for the community".. They brought it up CONSTANTLY, even when it was totally irrelevant... take for example last year when Benson was on the trade block, he got hurt out of the blue and the Buccos were forced to deal Aramis because they NEEDED to dump salary. (Benson was the original dumpee) Then there were reports of fellow Buccos doubting his "heart"... Kris' response was, "I got heart, I don't know why they wouldn't think I got heart, I mean me and Anna do SOOOO much for the community.." I'm listening to this and thinking, "Whaaaaaa?!!!"
Anna is an attention hound, and Kris is a blame shifter.. Congratulations the the Mets on paying 8 mil/year for a 4+ career ERA.Comment
