We'll take game 2 not even worried.

Great pitching by Tanaka and Keichel tonight. It's nice to see such a well pitched game on both sides like that. I gotta tell you though, Giles is not the easiest guy to watch. You keep waiting for him to blow it.

With Verlander pitching tomorrow you have to think he'll get 7-8 innings.

That HR was very similar to the Pujols one, glad the result was better this time. Also, I'd guess Gregerson slides into the closer role if needed tomorrow.

No Gregerson please. Only time he should be in is if the game is out of reach. I'm guessing Devo and/or Harris.

I'm happy Tanaka wasn't terrible. I'm not happy the offense was.

Keuchel was amazing tonight. Just spectacular performance. That was a fun game.

In Marketing class the other day when people were discussing the playoffs I chimed in that I am a Yankees fan and the other people flipped. They said that the Yankees wo be eliminated and here we are...

I've been accused of being a bandwagon Yankees fan. I became a Yankees fan in like elementary school when at a group I attended baseball was the theme of the series and there was a Yankees hat and Braves hat. I didn't want to like the Braves because everyone in the south loves the Braves. 10 years later and I'm still going strong.

I recently adopted the Nationals as my #2 because I went to DC, fell in love with it and want to move there eventually. I've never been to NYC though.

Judge is such a mess. Taking fastballs down the plate but swinging at junk.

He needs to be moved down the lineup.

As someone who notoriously likes to bag on the east coast teams for being over hyped. I genuinely like this Yankee Ball Club. A bunch of stand up vets, and fun young studs who ( except for sucker punching Gary) play the game the right way.

Yeeesh, that was a really close call on Gardner there. That looked really tough to overturn in my mind but as someone who's cheering for the 'Stros i'm happy they got the out there.

Reddick was huge defensively that half inning.

I am pleased so far that we are finally getting some good starting pitching. The LDS round, outside of Washington/Chicago, was nuts.

                        Bartman Jr?

                        Call stands, it's a HR.

That can be considered some payback from 20 years ago when the fan clearly reached over screwing Baltimore in the playoffs.

Thank goodness. I was getting annoyed with the revolving bullpen bull****.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
