I don't know, I can't chalk this 8-0 score up to bad pitching though. Yankees are doing their jobs, no doubt, but there have been a bunch of balls that weren't hit well just finding the right spots.

Even the homers. The first one was just a pitch that Frazier fought off the other way and it somehow flew out; the second was a ball high and tight that Judge muscled out of there. Probably a bad pitch selection by Harris but not really a horrible pitch.

For being down 8-0 there have been surprisingly few mistakes thrown tonight.

Man, Betances just looks lost. Supposedly no pressure here but he can't throw strikes.

Total waste of a reliever spot.

That should be the last time we see him this year.

Might be time for chapman to get loose

Or that. Timely DP ball to end it.

Huge win for Yanks tonight, the big thing I take away from the first 3 games is the Yankee pitchers have shutdown this great Astros lineup, I mean 2 2-run games and a 1-run game, you can’t ask for much more then that. A win tomorrow totally resets this series going forward

Big performances from CC and Judge tonight. Houston is going to need to get their bats going tomorrow or the series will be even.

                          Go Astros!

                            Lance Mccullers starting tomorrow.

His last 8 outings in the regular season ... all 5 1/3 innings or less ...

                            Runs allowed each game:

                            3, 6, 5, 6, 5, 3, 2, 5

So Girardi is doing the right thing here IMO as Austin Romine gets the start at catcher over Gary Sanchez.
