what saves him from the backlash giambi is gonna get is that giambi shot up with it. you shoot anything in your *** or stomach and you know what your doing. bonds useing a cream and a oral drug can make his story a lot more believable. but even as a giants fan it is all bad right now whether hit did it or not.

LOL! It doesn't matter if he injected it or used cream. Bottom line is he used steriods and honestly this is a suprise to no one but Giants fans.

Look, what I meant by Bonds isn't taking steroids is because he said that he isn't, meaning that if he did, it was without knowledge of what he was taking. I will believe him until he admits that he was knowingly taking steroids, and at the time that he DID take steroids, it wasn't illegal. Also the fact that his 2003 season was his WORST season of this decade so far, his 2004 season being the best when he hadn't touched the stuff in 22 months.

I'm pretty much a joke when it comes to somebody asking me if I think someone's innocent or not, I'm sorry that you guys feel like I am a joke. I mean, I am one that still has faith in Scott Peterson being innocent. You guys may say "He's guilty, all evidence proves it". Well, all evidence proves it to the 12 men sitting on the side, but it doesn't factually prove that he killed his wife.

For me, it's "He's innocent until proven guilty", not "He's innocent until the jury says he's guilty". I would rather have proof than just 'evidence'.

So, I still believe that he did not know that he was taking 'a legal substance at the time', and that his 2003 season was most definitely 'his worst season of this decade', and that he proved himself a power hitter and an average hitter this year by 'batting .362 and hitting 45 home runs even with 232 walks, 121 of them being intentional'.

You can't call him a cheater, he didn't know about them, and they were legal at the time. You can't call him a liar, he said from his heart of how much he trusts Anderson. You can't say he sucks, he just showed us that he is better without steroids this season. You can't say he's guilty, because he didn't admit that he knew they were steroids... technically it's up to the jury to whether or not he's guilty, but that's chicken ****. Barry Bonds was a HOF'er before this decade, he broke the single-season home run record before his steroid use (and/or abuse), and he still and always will shine out as the best current player (if not the BEST player) of all time. Fine, take away his 2003 season stats... he still only has 57 home runs left to catch up to Babe Ruth, no problem in two seasons WITHOUT STEROIDS, and can pass Aaron in 2007. no big. But would that be right to take that season away? No reason whatsoever.

Bonds is a saint in many players' minds, and a great coach. I happened to have been analyzing his swing for the past 3 years, and have came up with some drills for myself to work on. Many of these drills have been focusing on the knob and elbow squaring up and leading to the ball, the front shoulder turning into ball and flying out, the frontside hip level with front shoulder and belly button lines up to pitcher, eyes go first, hands go last, squish bug, stay balanced, back shoulder swings around and bat connects to ball with fat part.

I have been doing about 8 drills for these mechanisms for 3 years now, and boy, they do NOT disappoint. Bonds is a great player because of many things, but because his swing separates him from everybody else (and boy it does, I'm going to be on Varsity for my third year now and I'm a Junior), he is a much better player and can hit home runs without steroids. He knows it, and he would not have taken "the cream" and "the clear" had he known they were steroids.

I'm done in this thread. You guys can debate all you want as to whether he took them knowingly or if he is only better because he took them, or if every single career stat that he had ever achieved should have an asterik there, but I have school now, I can't talk about this anymore. I'm through.

...don't take it so personally man. You'll find that over time many of the illusions you have of people (athletes/actors/musicians) will be shattered. Don't put too much stock in those people, they will most likely let you down.

I'm sorry, Blzer, but I'm pretty sure Bonds knew exactly what he was taking. There are BALCO documents that show this. They've even talked about the possibility that Bonds commited perjury on the stand by saying he didn't know. There's a strong possibility he could be persecuted for that.

Bonds is acting like he had no idea. Too many signs point to his knowledge. Documents, conversations with Sheffield and now the link to Giambi. There's no doubt in my mind that Barry knew. He's just not that dumb...
