As predicted, the Brewers weak spot is their starting pitching. Woodruff fails to go 4. Brewers also haven't scored a run since Tuesday.

It's great to have the opposing pitcher throw 95 pitches in 4 innings.. but you gotta score runs, too. Cubs are the king of getting guys on base and not driving them in.

Caratini is a super passive hitter I've noticed. Seems like every AB he takes to 2 strikes and fouls off a bunch, but he's never really attacking the AB.

Baez's ABs have looked more tentative than usual as well (perhaps for the best).

Is it just me, or does he struggle more when it's not a save situation? I know that's a cliche with closers, but it really seems like that is a reality with him.

If we can keep this rolling until Acuna comes up nobody will bother caring about the service time idiocy. Also I'm hoping the "new Swanson" is permanent and maybe just maybe that trade will actually fulfill the hype.
