    Matt Antonelli

The other day while watching some YouTube videos, I came across a fellow named Matt Antonelli. Matt is a former 1st round draft pick of the San Diego Padres and he did make it to the Show for the Padres as well as a couple of other teams. However injuries, plus he will openly admit that he simply was not good enough prevented him from having a long career at the MLB level. With that said, I have really enjoyed watching his videos where he tries to prepare young baseball players dreaming the dream what to expect at all the different levels of baseball.

Here is the link to his YouTube home page.

Hope you folks who have not seen his videos enjoy them as much as I have.

I have been watching his channel too. He has a lot of videos answering different questions about the big leagues. Interesting stuff.

Where does the time go? I remember when he was the Padres 1st round pick...had to look it up because I would have guessed 5-7 years ago. It's been 12 years! They were really excited about him for a few years...IIRC, he had some injuries that derailed his career.
