I wonder if Walgreens is still feeling good about letting go Dusty Baker.

Ian Happ played that RBI double into a 2-RBI double. Yikes.

Also, Joe Maddon apparently doesn't care for platoon advantages by letting Justin Wilson face a host of righty batters in the 9th. Didn't work out too well.

Didn't see it because I'm radio only, but was it shades of Marcell Ozuna from last night? Something he should have been able to cut off and prevent the 2nd run?

Difference here is that the Cubs still have a chance. But they go meekly in the bottom half. That loss hurts.

It dribbled down the line close to the wall and Happ seemed to get a slow jump on it. Then he seemed to come in too hot and got so close to the wall he had to push off with his arms before he could bend down to pick it up. Not sure if he was confused by the english on the ball, but it wasn't very athletic looking play. A lot of the time a guy might score from 1st on that kind of double anyway, but Happ played it so poorly that there wasn't close to a play at the plate.

Also, this is our first shred of evidence that Morrow is a double agent. Being rested but not being available in a 1-run game against your old team? Hmmmmmmm

That really doesn't make sense. Also is Edwards hurt?

              Atlanta loves to face lefties...

              Camargo with the slam!

Word on the street is Morrow's back is acting up. And, yeah, Edwards has been out for a few weeks now. I think he's pretty close to ready. Trotting out Anthony Bass and Luke Farrell with Justin Wilson as the closer really isn't my idea of a good time though.

Domingo Germán seems to pitch backwards, breaking ball- breaking ball- fastball.

                    Love it.

Top of Atlanta's lineup continues to be putrid.

This Phillies bullpen should be ashamed of themselves. Every damn night these starters pitch their asses off only to see the bullpen blow it. Tonight it's Tommy Hunter's turn.

Here's hoping the offense can come back like they did last night.

Learn to manage a bullpen, Kapler. Screw your cliche we have confidence in all our relievers crap. Get guys in here that can hold a lead.

It looks like he's only got 4 guys he can use if you only want to use guys with better stats than Hunter. No staff can survive with only 9 guys over a season. At some point, the players have to be able to perform.

We need Pat Neshek back. Been on the DL all season so far.

Camargo with a ridiculous night. 4-5, grand slam, two singles and a double with 5 RBI.

So glad we gave him a chance and cut bait with Bautista...I've liked this kid since ST 2017.
