You may be on to something. But still doesn't explain that dramatic of a change. Especially with how many games I've watched of Judge in his career. His exit velocity in general is insane. He will use all fields. But he usually crushes the ball and leaves with a no doubter.

Right...but the home run won't factor into his BABIP. That tells us when he puts the ball in play (i.e. not over the fence), over 40% of the time it goes for a hit at home. That's insane and I am not sure how to explain it other than maybe him being played differently than he played on the road.

Yes I understand that. That's why I said it just is unexplainable. Just as Stantons splits are. Like what?

Preston Tucker's first homer in 3 months...didn't realize it had been that long (I know he's been in the minors).

Phillies are seriously about to lose a series to the Marlins. That just can't happen.

Nice pregame montage with Javier Baez highlights overdubbed with America's "You Can Do Magic."

Holy crap. Joe Maddon is even letting Heyward start against lefties now. How far we've come.

Heyward in the 3 whole is weird. Especially against a lefty. I know it's just because Rizzo is leading off and he likes Bryant in the 2 whole (plus it gives Rizzo some protection), but even when they signed him coming off a good 2015 I never envisioned Heyward as a #3 hitter. Figured he'd be a 2 or 5 guy at best

Pirates making things very interesting against Milwaukee...bases loaded nobody out in the 9th, losing 5-3 with Corey Knebel struggling.

EDIT: Pirates tie it up as David Freese bangs a flyball off the wall in right. Geez, Brewers.

I don't know if there is a team that needs the all star break more then Milwaukee. They are just falling off a cliff right now.

Justus Sheffield on the mound for Team USA in the Futures Game. The World All-Stars have themselves a decent hitting coach.

Reds' prospect Hunter Greene coming on to pitch now.

                          Jason Heyward, RBI man.

Let's print some business cards for him.

Thanks Bell. Six game winning streak going into the break, I'll take it.

Pirates win, and you're gonna have to see the highlight to believe this. In a pouring rain Josh Bell drives a ball over the CF's head, relay throw would have cut down the winning run but it got past the catcher.
