I know this is unexpected, but we swept Baltimore.

In his last 7 starts, Sale has a 0.20 ERA, 79 Ks and 6 BBs.

It'll be fascinating to see how he does in September and October when the games matter more. Last year he was clearly fatigued but thankfully Boston has a comfortable lead in the AL East and a plan already in place to rest Sale up a bit innings wise for the playoffs.

This Houston-Seattle game has been pretty good. Bregman with a nice piece of hitting whilst choking up on the bat, Correa with a check-swing RBI single. Rondon giving it up to Healy in the 9th. Now Felix Hernandez Relief Pitcher is warming in a 3-3 tie heading to extras.

And, Kyle Tucker looks like he's about 12 years old.

Props to Ozzie Albies sinking the Brew Crew. I would rather the Cubs extend their division lead by, you know, actually playing good baseball. But, I will settle for everyone else playing a little bit worse.

Can't say I saw a 4 game sweep of Houston coming after the debacle against the Rangers.

Now that was impressive. Seattle sweeps 4 at Houston. Edwin Diaz gets saves in all 4. He has 100 Ks in 59 IP and was 2 pitches shy of an immaculate inning today. The AL West is bunching up a little bit. Both Oakland and Seattle vying for the division as well as the WC.

                  Is it sustainable?

                      Not sustainable Seattle.

I followed Stanton when he was in Miami. But seeing him on a daily basis is a freaking treat. There is no player like him. When the ball comes off that bat it's just different.

Even compared to Judge. You'd mistake a single for a bullet as hard as he hits the ball. Just kind of blows me away. Been watching baseball for a long time. I've never seen a player like him.

So, Roberts just made a move that really makes it okay for one to say: "Bold strategy, let's see if it pays off for them."

EDIT: Oof, that's one of the ways that you don't want that move to happen. Walk-off walk.

Whoa! Fernando Rodney with a straight hat. Broadcast team says he'd have something new for the 7th inning role.
