Wilson Ramos with 2 doubles, a triple, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored in his Phillies debut tonight. What a great way to make a statement on a new team.

Phillies up 7-3 on the Red Sox. These 2 teams play each other very well. Great games.

Seems the only fight the Marlins have had in them all year was after the hitting of Acuna. Braves are about to move to 56-3 on the season against the Marlins, or it feels like it at least.

Just because I wanted to see the actual head to head record against the Marlins, it's 12-3 in the Braves favor, I saw that the Marlins have 57 runs in those 15 games while the Braves have 61 runs alone in the last 8 games head to head this year, going 7-1 in that span. Braves have 105 in those 15 games, 9 shy of doubling up on the Marlins.

Keith Hernandez said "you gotta hit" Acuna there to avoid another lead off HR. I was actually thinking about it earlier that if this were the 60, 70s, 80s, even 90s...I could see this happening. Doesn't make it right though.

As if I needed another reason to hate the Marlins. Garbage team, garbage franchise. I didn't know Jeter and Mattingly could be so terrible.

**** Urena. The entire Braves team should have taken turns punching that loser.

I expect to hear nothing about "old school baseball mentalities!" and "backwards boring archaic baseball players" though. Not in this case.

If anyone else can post Mattingly's post game interview for me, it's funny to see him struggle to not throw his pitcher under the bus. It's more evident to me that Urena went out of his way and this wasn't a call from anyone on staff.

X-Rays on Acuna's elbow were negative. Waiting on CT results, which will come tomorrow. But indications are he'll be fine.

Damn near 5 hours later and I am still seething.

Hopefully CT scans come back clean and he’ll be ready to get back to it by Friday, dude couldn’t even soft toss warmups comfortably. It’s just chicken****, the Braves and Acuña have been white hot heading into the home stretch and the thought that they might be without the potential NL ROTY because a pitcher on a dog**** team couldn’t stand the fact that he was dominating makes me sick. What a ****ing coward.

And big ups to Snitker for getting out there and getting in the chicken**** mother****er’s face. For all the stick he’s gotten that’s what Bobby would have done. Between Ender running out in Snit’s back pocket and Dansby perfectly replicating Acuña’s home run trot tells me all I need to know about team.

It's interesting and weird how both teams interacted when they met at the mound. It's almost like the (other) MIA players were saying they didn't like it either and/or at least understood why ATL would be so fired up.

Yeah you could see exactly this immediately once it happened. As soon as the ball hit Acuna you can see Realmutto just kind of hang his head like "I can't believe he just did that".
