It's funny how literally just a few minutes after I posted about Morales he hit one out

Morales is oldest player since Barry Bonds to accomplish this feat.

He has chance to tie MLB record with 8. Only 3 guys have done so. Any guesses as to who?

Those glasses definitely hurt him. He hit .188AVG,.571OPS with 5HR in his first 43 games of the season. Since then he's gone .313 wih .992OPS and 17HR in 65 games!

Too bad he's really just a DH or else some playoff team could've used him.

Honestly, i'm kinda glad that Morales is still in a Jays uniform. The guy has been a huge influence and leader for the young latin contingent and would be a good guy to mentor Vladdy Jr. along next year if the Jays choose to keep him around.

There's meaningful baseball being played today.

A's up on the Astros already. In the 2nd. Last chance for the A's to do the damage directly themselves and possibly take 1st. Astros at full strength again unlike the last time the two teams met. Should be a great series.

Remember, I don't get to watch too many A's games in my old age anymore so when they are in one of these two timezones I get to and jinx's don't apply to me when I'm asleep.

Lester with the pickoff throw, also some run production with the bat, and a special catch on that Jose Reyes liner. Lester is a COMPLETE PLAYER.

Too bad that Almora isn't recognizing pitches right now. He was having a really nice season, but has zero idea of what he's swinging at now.

EDIT: One thing I really like about having Almora in CF and Heyward in RF is there isn't really a RCF gap out there between those two.

That Angels/Rockies game was nuts. Happy that was the national game tonight and that Trout and Ohtani performed and that it was a wild affair.
