All due re2pect to Scherzer and deGrom, but if the season ended tomorrow (and if I had a vote) Nola's my NL Cy Young. Nola is outdueling Scherzer for the 2nd time in their previous 2 matchups. For what that's worth.

The Red Sox taking a page out of the 2017 Dodger's playbook. Look unbeatable for 4 months...then be unable to win a game. That worked out okay for the Dodgers.

I'm actually still more upset over that 1-15 streak or whatever it was than losing the World Series.

Losing to a great team in the World Series is normal; a great team struggling to win a single game over a 2-3 week stretch is not. That was uniquely awful.

The Phillies seriously just lost the game with Vince Velasquez pinch running at second base as the tying run because he left second early on a tag. This is a complete joke now.
