Ugh....Why couldn't they have Matty V, A-Rod and Jess call this Dodgers game. I gotta endure Rick Sutcliffe for 9 (or more) innings!

As a fan who has been watching the entire year, thats DEFINITELY apparent in this second half. Luckily, Knebel and Jeffress are there, and Corbin Burnes is good who could be a starter, so he's more than capable to eat innings too.

My heart skipped a beat when he hit it. That scenario was playing in my head since the cameras first showed him in the on-deck circle.

Congratulations to the Brewers fans on being NL Central Division champions

Savoring the moment folks. 5 times in the playoffs in 48 years.

Hader doesn't pitch well in back to back because he pitched 2 to 3 innings per outing

Cubs have had 1 off day in 42 days i think and that continues. Brewers deserved this congrats.

hate to be a broken record at this point but I don't understand the cubs struggle against the brewers average at best starting pitching. hader shouldn't even factor to this if you score runs of Chacin who is solid but far from a #1 starter Fire Chilli Davis right this second.

You do realize Milwaukee is right behind Chicago for starting pitcher ERA for the season, right? Like, the Cubs are 10 and Milwaukee is 11, separated by .1

I think Chachin had a 1.66 era Vs. Cubs going into the game. He has been the most consistent Brewer SP.

As far as Harder, he hit a rough patch lately. O think his era balling to 2.50 before today's game.

Still, a great game to watch.

Good luck to the Cubs and their fans.

Nice piece of opposite field hitting from Muncy. 4-0 Doyers.

                      Buehler with a no-hitter through 5.

and it was a v bad year for the cubs rotation. they were saved by the Cole Hamels trade and it wasn't until the last month they really started pitching well.

I'm glad I was at work and unable to watch today's Cubs-Brewers game. That saves me the trouble of making another tedious post about how inconsistent the Cub offense has been, how the younger position players have not gotten any better this year, how Joe Maddon doesn't seem to have them ready to play sometimes etc...glad I didn't have to mention it this time. Phew
