    O's sign Steve Kline

Two year deal. Baltimore now has the two best left handed relievers in baseball.

Exactly- I'm baffled why the Orioles weren't exploiting the depth of good (not great) pitching on the market e.g. Pavano, Clement, Radke etc..

        Baffling...

the other big news is that we got Chris Gomez back

maybe we'll sign Eckstein now that he's a free agent... our front office baffles me.

This was my reaction to this also. They better get somebody who can start. Sidney Ponson is not a #1 starter.

Could be worse. You could be rooting for a team (the Reds) that talks and talks about getting younger, especially with young pitching, and then they go out and trade a former #1 draft pick pitcher who is 23 for Ramon Ortiz (31). Then they follow that madness up with the signings of David Weathers (35), Ben Weber (35), and Kent Mercker (36). And, at least Angelos is willing to spend money. The Reds ownership and front office are the worst in baseball, in my opinion.
