    Anybody read Faithful yet?

I'm thinking about buying this book. What a perfect season for those 2 to write their book.

If you've read it, do you give it the thumbs up or down?

I'm currently reading it. I like it so far. Stephen King is hilarious and they give good insight from the fans perspective. So far they've made it through spring training. Its basically a diary that goes back and forth. Stewart O'Nan will cover one day while Stephen King will cover another with email exchanges in between.

Hmm...... I've only read one review for the book so far and it's been positive. I'm leaning towards going out and buying it instead of waiting for a few months before I borrow it from my local library.

                I got the book.

I'm on the chapter "June Swoon" right now.

The word "Yankees" has already come up a million times already.

                    Finished the book.

Nothing ground breaking but it was a good recap of the season. All the highs and lows are in there.

The words "Moneyball" and "Greek God of Walks" is pretty frequent in the book.

I wonder 10 years from now, if the word Moneyball will still be used in baseball books. I would say yes.

The one negative about the book I have is that Stephen King injects some political commentary about Iraq/Bush that shouldn't have been included.
