White Sox close to getting Hernandez

According to The Score 670, the Sox are close to a 2 year $8 million dollar deal with him. I'd love for them to make that deal and bring him in as a fourth or fifth starter.

He pitched about half a year last year and his arm was dead at the end of it. I believe he was coming off a surgery but I still don't think he is going to be able to eat up innings. On the other hand you could do a lot worse than El Duque as your fifth starter.

Thats fine, he can come in and be our fifth starter. All we need is about 5 or 6 decent innings out of him, and that would be ideal for a fifth guy.

I think he will go above and beyond that.

He'll pretty much always give you a good outing, but he's not someone you can count on.

You can't count on him cause he gets hurt a lot. He's sort of like J.D. Drew.
