    Sad note to Yankee fans..

    just read on ESPN.com, Eddie Layton, long-time organist @ Yankee Stadium, died today...

    Thats sad to hear. The Yankees are one of the few teams who still use an organ during the games. Going to many Yankee games it makes it feel much more traditional and family-friendly.


    Hopefully we'll get a new orgnaist and not ditch the whole thing itself.

      Thats sad to hear. The Yankees are one of the few teams who still use an organ during the games. Going to many Yankee games it makes it feel much more traditional and family-friendly.

        Yeah, until they start playing hip-hop music in between innings. Yankee Stadium's choice in music stinks, in my opinion.

            Johnny Oates, Reggie White, Doug Ault, Eddie Layton and the thousends of people who have lost their lives in Asia, 2004 is definately ending on a sour note.

                yeah - just seems so weird that everything is happening now, & they cant tell how many people died yet in the tsunami...
