Your Team's Best and Worst Decisions of the Offseason

What are your team's best and worst decisions this offseason.

    For the Red Sox:

    Best:
    1. Not trading Manny
    2. Using Pedro's $13m to sign Wells, Clement and W. Miller
    3. Overpaying for Varitek and making him captain
    4. Signing Renteria

    Worst:
    1. Even considering trading Manny in the first place
    2. Trading Dave Roberts

    For the Yankees:

    Worst:

    Letting Miguel Cairo go.
    Letting John Olerud go.
    Letting Leiber go.
Not getting Johnson (which may eventually happen)
    Not trading Kevin Brown.

    Best:

    Pavano signing.
    Getting rid of Heredia.
    Getting rid of Lofton.
    Possibly getting Beltran.

Re: Your Team's Best and Worst Decisions of the Offseason

        For the Marlins:

        Best:

        1. Keeping the core of the team together, despite losing Pavano and Benitez.
        2. Signing Al Leiter.

        Worst:

        1. Not the team's fault but still no stadium.
        2. Not winning the lottery.

2005 should still be an awesome season for the Marlins despite a serious upgrade to the rest of the NL East. Lets go fish.

                Cardinals

                Best:
                Trading for Mark Mulder
Not overpaying for Renteria or Matheny

                Worst:
Signing Eckstein to a 3 year deal

That's all I can say for now. The offseason is still young, so we'll all have more to say come February and March. I'll definitely have more to say once the Cardinals get another middle infielder.

                    For the Mets:

                    Best
1- Hiring Omar Minaya to run the baseball business
2- Finally getting an ace for the pitching staff
3- Hiring Willie Randolph as Manager

                    Worst
1- Hearing no news regarding a new Shea Stadium
2- Hearing the news in his contract that Matsui can only be traded to 3 teams (Yankees, Dodgers, Angels) only listed.

One major one I will add that is in limbo is Giambi? Worst would be if he has to stay and be a lump, best if we never see him again!!

Unfortunately for the Yankees I think they are stuck with him.
