re: OSNQ "Corey Patterson" Fantasy Baseball League (MULTIPLE OPENINGS!! DRAFT MARCH 26)

Matrix I appreciate your efforts to keep the league intact. Without looking at my roster, I'll just keep Chapman again this year. Go ahead and auto draft for my team and I will rejoin next season.

    Thanks again.

Bellinger for me. Cody... not his brother, Cole... famed Padres prospect

        One keeper per team, right?

Yup. Last year's cost + 5 if it lets me use auction values in an auto draft

          If not, just the player.

Assigned keepers but because it's auto draft, no cost associated. We can go ahead and figure out how to do keepers for next year after this season is done. For now, they will be taken out of the "first round" of the auto draft. The draft is set to "ready" so it will happen at some point in 72 hours according to Yahoo:

            Pads (JF16) - Bellinger
Never Pay for Saves - Jose Ramirez
            Gym Class Legends - Betts
O Chapman My Captain - Matt Chapman
            Uber - Trout
50 Shades of Grace - Story
Bleacher (Big League Chew) - Soto
            El Kraken - Devers
Burgh (City of Champions) - Josh Bell. NOT Nelson Cruz.
            Cream City Crusher - Cain
            Bryce is Wrong - McNeil
            Spankees - Yelich

                Ah ****. My bad J.

When I was doing it on yahoo's clunky terrible interface and didn't see him marked it didn't even register to me that Bell was your guy from March from the post in the thread. As you can imagine, my brain is fried from the last 4 months.

No worries. Forced a straight swap basically Bell for Cruz on the back end via dropping both and adding both.

Rosters are up and drafted BTW, everyone. Let's have some fun with this one and we can regroup next year.

Yeah man, the league auto drafted overnight. Keep an eye for next year, if we're even still around as a human species.

I enjoy my team too. Probably wouldn't go with a couple of players I ended up with but hey.

Yup! Let's do it. I assume everyone is back. If you're not going to be please say so.

Currently set the auction draft for Sunday the 28th at 1:30pm Pacific / 2:30pm Mountain / 3:30pm Central / 4:30pm Eastern.

How do you guys want to approach keepers this year since we'll be going back to auction?

We can maybe look at the "average draft values" for 2021 season. Or we can look at what we paid for a player in 2019 and add 10 if it's still the same player. Or can pick a player from auto drafted rosters last year and pay a $30 flat fee. Or maybe if you want to keep a player taken in the first round last year, you pay $50, second round $45, third round $40, or some such structure. Anything round 15 and on or was a free agent pickup would get the $5 assignment. Only problem with that is the keepers for last year's auto draft were selected "in the first round." Maybe a flat fee? Or we can determine it on "average draft values" or something.

Or we can just re-draft fresh with keepers going forward next year. Would suck for people who have been smart over the years to acquire cheap talent but hey, everything over the last year has been terrible.

                            Anyone have ideas?

I'm fine with the flat fee.... Otherwise totally fine with re-drafting... W/E everyone else is fine with, works for me.

How about average draft value or average cost (+5?) for auto-drafted players from last year, but if someone want to continue holding on to a player from 2019 then they can keep him with +10 to whatever they paid in '19
