Vazquez to the O's after Unit trade?

It makes sense to me. We need a #1 guy very badly now that fat a** is in jail. Apparently we would trade 25 year old pitcher Eric Bedard and either Jay Gibbons or Luis Matos. I don't know about trading Bedard, but I am almost positive Javy will have a heck of a rebound season.

That will be interesting to see if that pans out because Javy says that if he's traded he only wants to play in the NL.

If only the Sox didn't sign three pitchers.. man, I could only imagine a scenario where the Sox decide to get involved just to screw with the Yankees

I thought it was he only wanted to play in the east, closer to his home. That was why he didn't want to play for the Dodgers.

I too am really upset about the inactivity. I don't know if I should blame B&F or Angelos. I really hope they get on it and sign Delgado, Ordonez, or both...

Vazquez would be a huge upgrade for the Orioles starting rotation. I would think it would be Jay Gibbons as the OF going to the D'backs, they already have a Luis Matos type player in Luis Terrero and have said they would like to acquire a power bat to fill RF, Gibbons has some pop in his bat, Matos doesn't.

Awhile back ESPN's Tim Kurkjian had reported that he believes Magglio Ordonez would end up with the Orioles, but that was when everyone thought that Carlos Delgado was going to be Mariner, so, who knows how that will play out. Maybe they will sign them both.
