They have definitely hit a rough patch with a tougher schedule.

Paddack was not locating at all tonight. Lots of pitches in the heart of the plate. Seems like he threw a lot fewer changeups which to me is his best pitch.

I blame it on him ditching the stirrups

Random "PC" thing I was thinking about since they changed DL to IL.

Suicide squeeze is one I'm surprised hasn't been renamed either. I was reading a headline talking about a game, but the first line just read "(player name)'s Suicide". Next line "squeeze play helps win game". Got scared for a moment. Seeing how every little PC thing that can be changed seems to be happening, surprised something called a Suicide squeeze hasn't gotten to the PC police yet.

Just noticed the Yankees are 10 games over .500 despite having basically their entire team on the DL. Pretty impressive.

It's been next man up all season. And Cashmans minor pickups have paid huge dividends. Talking mainly about Gio Urshela and Voit.

Been fun to watch as the starters slowly trickle back.
