Good thing this Cubs-Rockies game is already in the 8th and good thing it's getaway day. These teams seem to be getting tired of one another rather quickly...Hamels hits Arenado on the shoulder early on. Arenado barks at him "too high." A little bit later, Bryan Shaw gets Cole Hamels on the foot. Next Rockies pitcher (some nobody, conveniently enough) plunks Anthony Rizzo deliberately because street justice wasn't quite enough with Hamels just getting a bruised foot/ankle. Next man up, Javier Baez clobbers the nobody's pitch to make it a 10-0 Cubs lead. I am wondering who the Cubs will hit in the bottom half of the 8th...too bad it's Kyle Ryan because he's a soft-tosser.

Jays will be using their 12th different starter of the season already lol.

20 is the modern day record set by 1967 Mets.

I wonder if Jays will actually break that mark, especially when you know guys will be traded soon.

They're going for the Mariners 2017 record too. 40 total pitchers used. Jays already at 24.

I wonder if there are any direct flights from Miami to Japan that Mikolas could catch?

Even I have to give Riley some props. Dude has been clutch as can be.

Jose Ramirez has to be having one of the most godawful seasons ever for someone who was a serious MVP candidate the year before. He's gone from 146 wRC+ in each of the previous 2 seasons to 55 wRC+ this season. So he's basically hitting like a pitcher now.

Trying super hard not to drop his *** but he's relegated to the bench. Tough performance from a keeper. Hate talking about fantasy since who cares but it's shocking how far he's fallen.

I didn’t stay up last night when game went to the delay, but what another great win. The impact he has had on this lineup is incredible...I honestly don’t think Ender Inciarte will get his spot back.

Crazy to think the Cardinals are at .500 (33-33) in early/mid June and are only 5 games out of the division and 4 games out of the wildcard.

If we could just find consistency we could easily get back into this thing. But our rotation stinks and we aren't getting near the production expected from Carpenter and Goldy

That's just life in the NL Central this year...and more often than not.

Would like to see a two division per league format again...though the NL is as deep/tough as it's ever been. Very few jalopies at the moment.

The AL on the other hand...is almost a formality every year.

Man, Josh Bell is really going to waste his MVP level year on this team.
